Silicone Foam Wound Dressing is composed of 3 layers: a waterproof and breathable polyurethane film, a highly absorbent polyurethane foam layer, and a perforated wound contact layer coated with soft silicone gel adhesive.
- Highly absorbent (12~16 times of fluid). Reduces skin maceration by absorbing large amounts of exudate.
- Integrated water-lock function for better moisture management.
- Semi-permeable polyurethane film protects the wound from water, bacteria, and foreign matters.
- Provides a moist environment to promote faster wound healing.
- Soft, elastic, and comfortable to the skin with excellent cushioning properties.
- Available in various sizes and shapes to meet clinical requirements.
⚠️ Usage Considerations:
- Coverage should extend at least 2 cm beyond the edge of the wound.
- Not for use with oxidizing solutions (e.g., Hypochlorite or Hydrogen peroxide).
- Discontinue use if any allergic reaction to silicone occurs.
