Place primary dressing pad face-down on the wound and wrap elastic bandage around the limb.
Insert elastic bandage into pressure bar opening.
Pull the elastic bandage in the same direction until fully tight.
Pull the bandage back in opposite direction, forcing the pressure bar down onto the pad.
Wrap the elastic bandage several more times over the pressure bar and all edges of the pad.
Secure the bandage into the hooking ends of the closure bar.
Non-adherent pad: Eliminates the risk of causing pain and having the wound re-opened upon removal.
Pressure Applicator: Creates immediate direct pressure on the wound site to bring about homeostasis.
Secondary Sterile Dressing: Maintains the pad and pressure firmly in place while keeping the area clean.
Closure Bar: Enables secure fixation at any point without the need for pins, clips, tape, or knots.
